The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission (VSC) is inviting the community to join them at the Hardin County Fair on September 3rd .
Guests will have an opportunity for a meet and great with the Veterans Service Officer, representatives from the Veterans Administration (VA), and the local veteran service organizations, including the American Legion & Amvets.
The Fair Board has provided the Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission with the use of the shelter house this year.
On a first come first serve basis, veterans will receive a free small sub from the Mouse House in Kenton, chips, and water, all sponsored by the American Legion Post 198.
The dinner will be from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm, or while supplies last.
At 6:00 pm they will be hosting a guest speaker who recently served in Baghdad, Iraq and he will be speaking about what he encountered during Operation Inherent Resolve.
Be sure to join them at the shelter house on Veterans Day when all veterans get in for free at the Hardin County Fair.
