Hardin Northern First Graders Dive into Bat Research with Creative Book Project and Crafts

The first-grade students at Hardin Northern have been researching bats.

They have watched videos, read books, and taken notes.

The students used their notes to make their own books.

They used nonfiction text features like headings, bold words and table of contents.

The students each had a turn to read the book to the class and enjoyed painting a bat craft.
