The Riverdale School District is seeking passage of a five-year 1.9 mill permanent improvement levy on November 5.
The levy would generate $360,000 that can only be used on fixed assets with a life of five years or more.
There are three town hall meetings scheduled before election day where district residents can receive more information and ask questions.
The next one is on Tuesday, October 8 at the Dwelling Place in Wharton, then on October 15 at the Village Council Building in Mt. Blanchard and finally on October 22 at the VFW in Forest.
All meetings start at 5:30pm.
The deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 7.
Early in-person and absentee voting begins October 8.
