The winners of the annual Kenton Fire Department‘s Coloring Contest were announced over this past weekend.
The contest was held last week during Fire Prevention Week, and it showcased the artistic skills of second graders from Kenton City Schools.
The four winners were Madeline McPheron, Alayna Rogers, Addison Magann, and Citlalli Espinoza Clement.
These creative winners earned a special ride in the ladder truck to the firehouse, where they were gifted with a Squishmallow and an award certificate for their outstanding work.
During their visit, the firefighters gave them an exciting tour of the firehouse and demonstrated all the firefighting equipment.
It was a memorable day filled with learning and fun.
