Kenton Lions Club Holds June Meeting

The Kenton Lions club held its meeting last week at the Kenton Elks.

Lions Meeting June 7, 2023

The Kenton Lions club held its meeting on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at the Kenton Elks.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lion President Bill Keller with 21 members present. President Lion Bill Keller led with the pledge and the prayer. The meeting was adjourned and reconvened at 7:00 pm following a meal.

A fund-raising raffle for a Traeger Griddle Package will be held at Eats on the Streets. Tickets are now available. They are $20.00 per ticket and can be purchased from Lions Members.

Roadside cleanup will be taking place on June 11th.

Discussions and planning on upcoming projects which include the Pioneer Park project.

One new member was approved. Welcome Robin Jones, who is sponsored by Lion Cindy Keller.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm. Followed by the singing of the Lions Roar.

50/50 drawing was won by Lion Jason VanBuskirk.
