A Kenton man was arrested in connection to a bomb threat at Walmart in Kenton Thursday evening.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the store received a phone call in reference to a bomb threat at just before 5:15.
After a short delay, the Police Department was contacted and officers arrived at the store.
The Kenton Fire Department was called to the building at around 5:30.
All shoppers and employees were evacuated and the building was secured.
The Allen County Bomb Squad was dispatched, and using bomb sniffing dogs a sweep of the building was conducted but nothing was found.
At just before 6 Thursday evening, officers arrived at the suspect’s residence and arrested 54 year old Paul T. Keen.
He is facing a felony count of inducing panic.
Employees were allowed back in at around 8:30, but the store remained closed for the evening.
