Kenton Offering Civil Service Entry Exam for KPD

The City of Kenton will offer a Civil Service Entry Level Examination, to establish an eligibility list for Patrol Officer with the Kenton Police Department.

The exam will be given on Tuesday February 4th, 2020 at 9:30 A.M, in the Municipal Building in Kenton.

Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to apply and must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Ohio. 

No applicant shall be eligible to receive an original appointment on or after the person’s thirty-sixth (36) birthday.

Application forms may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office located in Kenton’s Municipal Building, and they must be filed with the Clerk by 3:00 P.M. January 21.

All former military personnel wishing to receive service credit must attach a copy of their discharge papers to the application.
