City workers in Kenton contended with extremely cold weather to repair a water main break Sunday evening.
City officials sent out an alert at just before 6 stating that the water main break occurred in the area of High Street and Marie Avenue.
Residents were advised to have water on hand in case the water had to be shut off citywide.
Workers however were able to repair the break in just a few hours.
The water did not have to be shut off citywide and no boil alert was necessary.
City workers were thanked for braving the cold and fixing the break in record time.
