The owners of Lima Harley-Davidson announced on Thursday that they are closing the dealership.
The announcement was made on Facebook Thursday in a letter from Todd and Tara Joyce.
They stated that after over 40 years, they realized their passion and commitment to the business is not where it once was, and after careful thought and consideration, they decided it was time to “hang up their boots.”
They noted changing times and increased demands from the Motor Company that led them to lose their drive.
The business opened in May of 1984.
The owners stated that their intention is to close by December 15 of this year, but that could change based on inventory levels.
Customers can get updates on the Lima Harley-Davidson Facebook page.
