2nd Annual “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” Event to Support Safe Haven of Hardin County Set for October 4

The 2nd Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event to bring awareness to rape, sexual assault, and gender violence will be held Saturday, October 4.

Your support benefits Safe Haven of Hardin County and their residents that need help during some of the hardest times in their lives.

The event will open at 10:00 a.m. at St John’s Church in Kenton for registration, which is $15, and the walk will start at 11..

They will have resource tables, Walk a Mile shirts, and food trucks.

Prizes will be given for the largest team and for the person that raises the biggest donation for Safe Haven, and for the prettiest purple shoe.

Donations are greatly appreciated.
