Ada High School Threat Investigated Yesterday: Student Detained, No Active Danger Confirmed

The Ada Police Department was alerted by the Ada High School and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, of a potential threat made against the high school by a student.

This occurred at around 3:30pm Wednesday afternoon.

Ada officers located the student at his residence, as he had not been at the school. 

The student was detained and transported to the Ada Police Department. 

After a thorough investigation, it was determined that there is no active threat. 

The information gathered will be reviewed for possible charges.
