Ada High School art class students took on a unique challenge to sharpen their skills.

Advanced Ceramic students threw a bowl blindfolded using only their sense of touch.

Each blindfolded potter had a partner acting as their “spotter,” giving verbal directions every step of the way.

With focus, communication, and a lot of trust, every student successfully threw a bowl on the wheel, which was an impressive accomplishment.

Blindfolded potters: Katie Riblet, Callie Burgess, Easton Lee, and Andrew Allen

Spotters: Jacob Henson, Olivia Burkheimer, Alex Gibson, and Reese Jordan
