
Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Hardin County Citizens Sheriff’s Academy, but class size is limited.
It will be conducted on consecutive Tuesdays beginning September 16 and will run through October 28.
The sessions are planned for 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Office, 1025 South Main Street in Kenton.
The Academy will provide participants a working knowledge of the Sheriff’s Office.
Applicants must be Hardin County residents, post high school, 18 years of age or older.
Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office or at the Sheriff’s Office booth in the Community Building during the Hardin County Fair.
They must be completed and returned with a $25 non-refundable fee by Friday, September 12th.
An Academy certificate of completion will be awarded to those who finish the course.
