Students in the Anatomy class at Benjamin Logan School took learning outside Wednesday as they explored how exercise impacts the cardiovascular system.

By measuring heart rate and blood pressure before and after physical activity, they witnessed firsthand how the body responds to movement.

They also practiced key medical skills.

The students learned how to accurately take a pulse and check blood pressure using stethoscopes and cuffs.
