BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio — Benjamin Logan Local Schools Superintendent Dr. Sean Flynn is expanding the district’s community engagement efforts by creating more opportunities for residents, families, alumni, business leaders, and community partners to connect directly with district leadership.
In previous years, Benjamin Logan hosted several “Let’s Talk School” events in communities throughout the district. Those gatherings provided opportunities for residents to hear district updates, ask questions, and engage in conversation with school leaders.
For the 2026–27 school year, Dr. Flynn is building on that outreach by taking a more community-based approach. Rather than hosting only district-organized forums, he plans to attend existing community meetings, civic organization gatherings, networking events, and informal conversations throughout the Benjamin Logan Local School District.
The goal is to meet people where they already gather and create more natural opportunities for conversation, listening, and relationship-building.
“Strong schools are built on strong relationships with the communities they serve,” Flynn said. “I look forward to meeting people throughout the district, hearing their perspectives, and learning more about what matters most to our families and community members.”
