Bicyclist Killed in State Route 4 Accident in Marion County
A bicyclist was killed in an accident that occurred on State Route 4 in Marion County Monday afternoon.
According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Jeffrey A. Arn, of Bucyrus, was riding the bike south on 4 when he swerved to the left.
The bicycle was struck by a southbound pickup truck pulling a livestock trailer being operated by 78-year-old Charles E. Foust, of Marion.
Debris from the crash struck another southbound vehicle.
Arn was transported to Marion General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
