Carey Woman Transported to Hospital After Snow-Related Crash in Findlay

A Carey woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Findlay Tuesday morning.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, 60-year-old Janeen Boutwell lost control of her vehicle on a curve in the 5000 block of Hamlet Drive due to snow on the roadway.

The vehicle traveled left of center and was struck by a northbound semi being operated by 58-year-old Allen Trimble, of Hoytville, Ohio.

Boutwell was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.

She was cited for failure to control.
