Effort Underway to List Entire Grove Cemetery and Chapel on National Register of Historic Places
A plan to not only get the Chapel at Grove Cemetery on the National Register of Historic Places, but the whole cemetery, is moving forward.
With the blessing of the Grove Cemetery Board, Rescue Grove Chapel Co-Chair Jennifer Ramge is working on the application now.
If anyone has any original plans or historical information on the Chapel as well as Grove Cemetery, email them in a Word Document to townshiptrustee@gmail.com.
Rescue Grove Chapel historians have retrieved all the information on the internet and at the Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library.
At this point, they are looking for information that relatives and friends may have.
