$10 billion in direct economic assistance payments will soon be issued by the Farm Service Agency to help agricultural producers overcome increased input costs and falling commodity prices.

Payments made through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program are based on reported crop acres for eligible commodities for the 2024 crop year.

Eligible producers will receive a pre-filled application form that can be returned to their nearest FSA office.

The Hardin County FSA office is located at 12757 State Route 309 Kenton.

More information can be found on the Ohio State University Extension- Hardin County Facebook page.
