Extreme cold temperatures are in the forecast through Wednesday morning.

A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10am Wednesday.

Actual lows are expected to drop to 5 to 10 degrees below zero.

Wind chill readings as low as 15 to 25 degrees below zero are possible.

Exposure to cold can cause frostbite or hypothermia and become life-threatening within thirty minutes of exposure.

Infants and elderly people are most susceptible.

An extended period of very cold temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.

To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap, drain, or allow them to drip slowly.
