Fatal Crash in Hancock County Claims Lives of Two Findlay Residents

Two Findlay residents were killed in a crash that occurred this past Friday evening at the intersection of State Route 15 and Township Road 190 in Hancock County.

According to a release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Brian K. Post traveled onto 15 from 190, and his vehicle was struck by an eastbound pickup truck being operated by 29-year-old Mahamed A. Kadir, of Minnesota.

Post was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in his vehicle, 60-year-old Sonja R. Dodds-Post was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Kadir was treated on scene by HANCO EMS with minor injuries.

State Route 15 in the area of the crash was closed for approximately two and a half hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
