Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and Ohio BWC Hosting Hancock County Safety Council
The Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation will host Hancock County Safety Council on Thursday, June 6.
A presentation titled “Ohio BWC: Special Investigations” will be featured from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Findlay.
The event costs $25 and will feature Shawn Fox, Special Agent in Charge with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Special Investigations Department.
In the session, attendees will receive an overview of the BWC’s fraud department and what constitutes workers’ compensation fraud, the differences between criminal and civil fraud, and red flag indicators along with some unique BWC fraud cases.
