Officers from the Findlay Police Department were observing activity in the area of Senior Homes of Findlay, located at 11915 Township Road 145, late Monday night due to multiple recent complaints of suspicious activity.
According to a release, they observed a vehicle arrive and leave the area in a short period of time, and a traffic stop was initiated.
Upon stopping the vehicle in the parking lot of Bellstores at 125 West Main Cross Street, an occupant fled into the store after being ordered to stop by the initiating officer.

The man, later identified as 52-year-old Darrell J. Williams was arrested in the store.
After observing surveillance footage, officers searched an area where Williams is said to have ran, and they located a large amount of suspected crack cocaine, and a moderate amount of currency was also located on the suspect.

Williams is being held at the Hancock County Justice Center on charges of Possession of Drugs and Obstructing Official Business.
