Hancock County Safety Council to Host “Heat Stress Compliance” Seminar on May 1
The Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, will host Hancock County Safety Council on Thursday, May 1.
The presentation titled “Heat Stress Compliance: Safeguarding Teams in the Workplace” will run from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Findlay.
The event costs $25 to attend, and will feature Meghan Moore, Operations Manager for Well at Work Occupational Health.
In this session, attendees will learn OSHA requirements for companies when it comes to heat prevention, the different types of heat illnesses, and heat illness prevention using the industrial athlete concept.
