With kids potentially being outdoors more often during the summer school break, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging parents and caregivers to download an app to help keep track of sex offenders in their area.

There are over 900,000 registered sex offenders in the United States, and the free Offender Watch Family Safety App will help protect your children from these dangerous individuals.

It provides real-time updates, instant notifications and helpful parent resources.

The Offender Watch Family Safety App can be downloaded in the Apple Store or Google Play.
