Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, Chief Deputy Dennis Burns and Lt. Scott Holbrook were each a recipient of the Buckeye State Sheriffs Association, Certified Law Enforcment Managment, or CLEM, Award.

They were presented last week at the Association’s Annual Conference in Sandusky.

The CLEM program is designed to raise the professional standards and improve the practice of law enforcement management by giving special recognition to those sheriffs, chief deputies and administrators.

By attending a suitable number of training sessions and fulfilling prescribed standards of performance and conduct, they have demonstrated a high level of competence and ethical fitness for law enforcement management.
