It was a hard-fought battle, but in the end, the Hardin County Pioneers defeated the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office in the Hoopin’ It Up Basketball game on Sunday.

The first annual contest was played at Upper Scioto Valley yesterday.

Despite the Sheriff’s Office’s best efforts, the Pioneers came out on top and were awarded the trophy.

Organizers thanked all of the participants and the great crowd of generous spectators who helped to make the day a great success.

Proceeds from the game supports Hardin County Special Olympics.
