The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office achieved final re-certification with the Ohio Collaborative Board in several areas on Wednesday.

Those areas are: Property and Evidence, Community Engagement, Body Worn Cameras, Telecommunicator Training, Bias Free Policing, Investigation of Employee Misconduct, and vehicular pursuit.

To achieve certification in these areas, each agency must demonstrate that their policies meet State and Federal ‘best practices’ models, that employees are trained in each policy, and that each policy is implemented appropriately.
