Hardin County Voters Head to the Polls Tuesday for Primary Election; Key Levies and Judge Race on Ballot

Early voting is over, and now voters will go to the polls tomorrow for the May 6 Primary Election.

The one county-wide levy is the renewal levy to support criminal justice services for the Hardin County sheriff’s Office.

The five-year one mill levy is estimated to collect $677,000 annually.

City of Kenton residents will decide the fate of a levy to benefit the city for the purpose of Fire Protection and Police Protection.

The 4.6 mill levy is estimated to generate $647,000 annually.

The BKP Ambulance District is asking voters to renew its 2 mill levy.

It is estimated to collect $622,000 annually to provide ambulance service and emergency medical services.

Voters in Liberty Township are voting on a one mill replacement levy.

A countywide contested race is on the Republican Primary ballot.

Colleen O’Connell and Andrew Tudor are vying for the Republican nomination for Judge of the Hardin County Municipal Court.

The polls will be open Tuesday from 6:30am to 7:30pm.
