HHWP CAC Launches 2025 Summer Crisis Program for Income-Eligible Households

Scheduling for the 2025 HHWP CAC Summer Crisis Program opens today.

The program provides a monetary benefit once per cooling season to eligible households.

To determine eligibility, income eligible households must be 60 years and over, or completed medical form signed by a physician, or electric status in in disconnect, terminated, transferring or new.

Assistance may include payment on an electric bill and/or a window air conditioner and/or a fan.

The program runs through September 30 but is on a first come first serve basis.

Community Services provides direct client assistance for utilities, water, and prescriptions to low income households in Hancock, Hardin, Wyandot and Putnam Counties
