High Speeds Reported on Northwest Ohio Roads in May, Patrol Urges Caution

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers from several posts around the state saw some high speeds on Northwest Ohio roads in May.

That includes troopers from the Marion Post, who recorded speeds as high as 119 miles per hour.

So far in 2025, 1.5% of the 94,959 speed citations issued by troopers statewide have been for 100 plus miles per hour.

The Patrol reminds motorists to slow down for your safety and the safety of other motorists.
