Kenton City School Superintendent Chad Thrush announced the three inductees to the 2025 Hall of Fame at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting.

They are Mark Ehlen, who was a coach for Kenton City Schools, former board member John Jester and David Sturgeon, who was a teacher, assistant principal, principal and superintendent.

Thrush noted that a formal recognition for them will take place during the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025.

Also at the meeting, several personnel items, including a list of volunteers and substitutes for the remainder of this school year were approved.

The board also accepted the retirement resignation of KES educational assistant Kathie Bishop who has been with the district for 27 years.

The board then went into executive session to consider the employment of a public employee and to consider the sale of property with no action taken afterward.

The next Board of Education meeting will take place on April 21.
