Kenton City Council Reviews Water Damage Claim, Honors Judge, and Previews Projects

Kenton City Council members discussed several topics and received updates at this past Monday’s meeting.

Resident Anthony Taylor brought up an issue regarding water damage to his home due to a city error. Council debated the legal aspects and decided to delve deeper into the situation in an upcoming utilities committee meeting.

Municipal Court Judge Greg Grimsled shared insights into the court’s operations and caseload.

A special acknowledgment was then given to the outgoing judge for his remarkable 20 years of service.

Also at the meeting, Law Director John Schwemer briefed the council on upcoming infrastructure projects.

Updates were also provided from various committees, including finance, public utilities, streets and sidewalks, and parks and recreation as well as police and fire departments.
