The Kenton City Schools Board of Education will conduct its May meeting this evening.
Among the items on the agenda, the Board will vote on a measure that would approve the real estate purchase contract between the Hardin County Commissioners and Kenton City Schools for the current Administration Building at 222 West Carrol Street for $150,000.
The Board will also vote on a resolution that would establish a Capital Projects Fund that would authorize an initial transfer of 4.8 million dollars from the General Fund to the Capital Projects Fund for the acquisition, construction or improvement of fixed assets, the equipping of new and existing school facilities and the acquisition of land, including, but not limited to athletic facilities.
A presentation will be given by KHS Conservation students Danny Combs, Ty Coomes and Dillion Dulin and their teacher Chuck Moore.
The Class of 2025 graduation list and several routine year-end personnel items are also awaiting Board action.
The meeting will start at 7 this evening in the Administration Building.
