Kenton City Schools held a grand opening celebration Sunday at the new Kenton Middle/High School building.
Following the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony, the public took tours of the facility.
After that, the current Kenton Middle School was open to the public for the final time. Pictures of the current middle school building can be found below.
This is the last week students will be in the current middle and high school buildings.
They will move into the new building after Thanksgiving break.
Last week, Kenton City Schools shared videos of the current middle and high school buildings to help memorialize them before they are fully and partly demolished.
The current high school will be partially demolished and the current middle school will be fully demolished in the near future.
You can also visit kentoncityschools.org/schools and view slower versions of both videos.
