Kenton City Schools, in partnership with the USDA Summer Nutrition Programs for Kids (SUN Meals), is providing free summer meals for children ages 1-18 throughout the summer. No pre-registration is required for either meal option, but families can only choose one of the options. Children cannot get meals from both programs.

Children can enjoy free lunches at the Mary Lou Johnson Library, located at 325 E. Columbus Street in Kenton, Monday through Thursday from noon to 12:30 p.m. The program runs from June 1 through July 16. All children ages 1-18 are welcome to attend.

For families unable to visit the library, Kenton City Schools will offer Grab-and-Go meal packs at Kenton Middle/High School, located at 751 Wildcat Way. The meal bundles include five days of breakfast and lunch meals and will be available on Wednesdays from noon to 12:30 p.m. from June 3 through July 15. Distribution will take place via drive-thru on the north side of the building near the event doors. No pre-registration is required.

The summer meal program is designed to help ensure children continue receiving nutritious meals while school is out of session.

The USDA is an equal opportunity provider, employer, and lender.
