Kenton City Schools are participating in the Sun Meals program this summer.
Meals will be provided to all children without charge.
Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times listed below:
Mary Lou Johnson Library – 325 E Columbus St, Kenton OH 43326
12-12:30 pm, Mon -Thu, June 2 – July 17th , 2025
Hardin County YMCA – 918 W Franklin St., Kenton OH 43326
12-12:30 pm, Mon -Thu, May 27 – July 17 th , 2025
Kenton High School – 200 Harding Ave, Kenton OH 43326
11:30-12:30 pm, Mon -Thu, May 27 – July 17 th , 2025
They also plan to operate non-congregate meals with shelf stable 10-day meal packs mailed directly to children’s homes.
Each meal box will contain 10 shelf stable breakfasts and 10 lunches with a menu. These meal packs will begin delivery the first week in June and end mid August, 2025. All meals are shelf stable.
Registration for each child individually is required for those meals and for more information, visit go.kcs.me/summerfeeding.
You can participate in either the meal site lunches, or the home delivered meals, but not both.
