A detective with the Kenton Police Department was presented with a letter of commendation for his work in a case involving online sexual exploitation in New Jersey.

Detective Dan Kemmere received the letter of commendation from Police Chief Dennis Musser at this week’s Kenton City Council meeting.

According to information from the City of Kenton, Kemmere played a pivotal role in a significant criminal investigation in a case involving a twelve-year-old victim and a male suspect, prompting the Hannover Police to collaborate with local authorities for assistance.

Hanover Police Chief Michael Loock commended Detective Kemmere for his professionalism and expertise, emphasizing his proactive approach and meticulous attention to detail.

Chief Musser highlighted that while he frequently seeks funding for various initiatives, the investment in Kemmere’s training represents considerable value, as it ensures rapid response capabilities that many departments lack.

The arrangement with the Secret Service facilitates quicker data processing times compared to the lengthy outsourcing options available to other agencies.
