On Saturday, Kenton High School JROTC students traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to compete in a regional drill and marksmanship competition. In the drill competition,
Parker Gierhart secured 4th place, Logan Sherrer placed 7th, and Cameron Boyer earned 10th place in the Unarmed Knockout category.
In the marksmanship competition, the Wildcat Battalion achieved an impressive 2nd place overall. Standout performances included Presley Poling, who placed 3rd in the Prone Position, and Parker Gierhart, who earned the highest combined individual score.
Parker also claimed 1st place in both the standing and kneeling positions and achieved expert marksmanship status by scoring an impressive 276 overall.
