Kenton High School is offering low-cost screenings to determine the risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

SCA is a life-threatening emergency that happens when the heart stops beating.

It happens in people of all ages, including kids, and comes with no warning.

It’s not a heart attack, it’s a structural or electrical issue with the heart.

SCA can be fatal if it’s not treated immediately, and the best way to protect your child is through testing.

The low-cost screenings are $20 thanks to generous donations and will be at the high school on August 27.

They are for students, primarily athletes, in grades 7th through 12th during the 2024-25 school year.

To register, follow the link that was sent through ParentSquare.
