The Kenton Middle School will be conducting universal social, emotional, and behavioral screening on September 16.

All Middle School students who agree to participate will complete a brief, online administered survey during part of one class period during regularly scheduled school activities.

Assessing the social, emotional, and behavioral functioning of students helps promote student success, allows the school to better understand the needs of all their students, and aids them in making effective plans at the school, classroom and individual level.

Participation in the survey is voluntary.

If you opt your child out of the screening or your child decides to not participate, it will not impact their access to services and/or standing at school.

All collected information will be kept confidential.

If you’d like to opt your child out of completing the survey, contact the Kenton Middle School at 419-673-0775 by September 12. in the main office at the middle school.
