Kenton Rotary Club Gains Insight into Hardin Leadership Program at Recent Meeting
The Kenton Rotary Club heard about Hardin Leadership at a recent meeting.
Director Kathy Oliver told Rotarians that Hardin Leadership was established in 1993 and was officially incorporated in 1997 as a 501c 3 organization.
She explained that several organizations, such as the Humane Society and Not By Choice Outreach were started by, or because of, past participants of Hardin Leadership seeing a need and fulfilling that need in the community.
Oliver noted that Hardin Leadership helps people move out of their comfort zone and be encouraged to act on a situation.
Leadership classes run between April and November on the second Thursday of the month.
