Kenton City School Superintendent Chad Thrush gave an update as to when students will be in the new Middle and High School Building.
He started by the saying the project is on schedule, “So that means that over Thanksgiving is really going to be the time period that we’re going to look to move in. That’ll give us a couple of weeks before Christmas to figure out the things that might need to be adjusted. For example, we’re going to be feeding about 300 kids in 30 minutes. We’ve got to make sure we can get that done well, and so there’s a lot of things that will allow us a couple of weeks to make adjustments over that Christmas break then for when the kids come back.”
An announcement as to when the grand opening date will be held is coming soon, and for the complete discussion with the superintendent, tune in Public Eye Saturday morning at 7:30am and at its new time Sunday morning at 7:30am on WKTN.
