Logan County Libraries have partnered with the Logan County Health District to improve access to period products for the Logan County community.
Period products are now available in the public restrooms at all library branches.
According to Period.org, one in three American adults who menstruate say they or a family member have struggled to afford period products.
The library stated that by making period products as accessible as toilet paper in public restrooms, we can help end period poverty.
If you or someone you know faces a challenge to afford essential period supplies, the Health District can help.
Free period kits are available at the Health District vestibule table during open hours.
The Logan County Health District is located at 310 South Main Street in Bellefontaine.
