Lunch Buddies: United Way of Hardin County Highlights In-House Program

After sharing information about its partner agencies, the United Way of Hardin County is now featuring its in-house programs on Facebook.

They started with Lunch Buddies.

That is a program at Upper Scioto Valley and Ada Elementary Schools.

Once a month, area residents come to the school to have lunch with their 3rd grade buddy.

This program is so popular with the students that several of last year’s 3rd graders are still meeting with their buddies this year.

Students who get paired with a buddy get to share their lunch time and have an additional adult.
