
More information has been released on an accident involving a car and train that occurred last week on Bales Road in Kenton.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 63-year-old Joe Stuber, of Zanesfield, drove around the railroad crossing gates that were down at the time, and his car was struck by a CSX train.
Stuber was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital.
Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser said that his office was informed this past Saturday February 15 that Stuber died from his injuries.
