Marion Back to School Event Set for August 3rd

Emanuel Lutheran Church in partnership with Marion barbershops and salons will be hosting a free community event on Saturday, August 3rd.  The event will offer students back-to-school haircuts, backpacks and shoe vouchers. 

There will also be a manicure station, inflatables, a fire truck, a DJ, free food and more.

While the event is free, tips and donations are being accepted.  All proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Marion County.

The event is scheduled to be held on August 3rd from Noon until 5:00pm at Founders Park in Marion.
