Marion County Dog Pound Hiring Part-Time Kennel Technician/Support Worker

The Marion County Dog Pound is hiring a Part-Time Kennel Technician/Support Worker for the Dog Pound located at 2252 Richland Road in Marion.

Responsibilities include cleaning kennels, feeding, and walking animals, and other upkeep tasks as assigned. 

As needed tasks include providing information to the public on the adoption of animals, general office support for the pound, answering phones and more.

The role is part-time, offering $14.00 per hour. Work hours are 4 hours each morning on alternating days from Sunday through Friday, plus every other Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a maximum of 16 hours per week. Schedule may vary based on availability.

You must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and clear criminal history to qualify.
