Marion County Sheriff’s Office to Honor Deputy Brandy Winfield with Remembrance Ceremony on October 14

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Remembrance Ceremony on October 14 for Deputy Brandy Winfield.

The day will mark 20 years since he made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of the community.

The ceremony will start at 10:30 that morning at the Marion Cemetery.

Sheriff Matt Bayles invites all current and former law enforcement officers from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Marion, Ohio Police Department, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol who served with Deputy Winfield to attend the ceremony. 

A potluck style luncheon will immediately follow at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
