Marion Technical College’s Graduation Ceremony will be held this Friday, May 16.
MTC President Ryan McCall said he’s been working his graduation speech and one of the topics will be finding your why.
He said it’s important for us to figure out our why as we go through life and understand what it is we want to do.
McCall said one of things he realized is that he wanted to be someone who helps first generation students move along that path and become successful, “And that’s why I went into higher education and ultimately led me here to become president of Marion technical College, so we’ll be talking about a little bit at graduation, but ultimately it’s about you, and we’re excited to see you walk across the stage, hear your family cheer for you, and I get the opportunity, the awesome opportunity to shake your hand and congratulate you in that process.”
All graduates must arrive at 5:30 Friday evening to May Pavilion, on the west side of the Palace building, doors will open at 6:00pm and the Graduation Ceremony will begin at 7:00pm Friday evening.
